To commemorate the 2-year anniversary of Seven:45, I was brought in to capture the atmosphere of an evening rooted in culture, sound, and storytelling. In collaboration with McIntosh Labs, this event elevated the analog experience with a curated sonic journey through vinyl, conversation, and immersive design.
What I Captured:
The glow of McIntosh Labs hi-fi equipment including the MT5 Precision Turntable and signature blue-lit amplifiers
Thoughtfully designed interiors with Kuzco Lighting fixtures casting dramatic ambient light
A timeless shelving installation filled with rare vinyl and reel-to-reel tape machines
Candid moments of listening, connection, and the artistry of analog playback
Special Feature: Hi-Fi Listening Guide
As a tactile companion to the evening, guests received a custom Hi-Fi Listening Guide—featuring portraits of Jazlyn “J. Rich” captured by me and designed by Ted December. The guide provided insight into intentional listening practices, spotlighted vinyl selections from the night, and served as a beautifully printed memento of the experience.
This series blends interior detail, lifestyle, product, and portraiture—focused on translating the emotional resonance of a listening room into visual language.
